ALEXANDRA THURLOW
Here for the whole story.
There’s no better feeling than being on top of your game, but we know life doesn’t always work that way.
There will be good times and hard times, challenges and smooth sailing, curve balls and fantastic opportunities, and undoubtedly many highs and lows.
MY PERSPECTIVE
With over 20 years’ experience across sport, education and psychology, I have seen performance from almost every angle; as an athlete, a coach, a teacher and a practitioner.
I have sat beside people through selection, injury, exams, leadership decisions and defining moments.
The world of high performance will test you on every level. I help individuals, teams and organisations navigate that.
MORE THAN A HIGHLIGHT REEL
Everyone loves a highlight reel: the wins and the best moments that made the cut. But they are only a snapshot.
The raw footage is where real life lives: the missed selection, the 3am doubts, the setbacks that quietly shape you and the defining moments that make you who you are.
High performers are at risk of narrow identities. Knowing who you are beyond your role or performance helps build the resilience to navigate the times when things do not go to plan.
Whether you’re an athlete, coach or a woman building your career in sport, I’m here to help you develop the inner capacity that underpins how you perform and grow.
While much of my work is rooted in sport, I also work with women in high-pressure leadership roles outside sport. The same challenges around performance, identity, pressure and change can apply in any demanding environment.

Mental Wealth is building the capacity and resources to thrive in demanding environments.

BEYOND WORK
Outside of work, you’ll find me moving: walking the dogs, hitting the gym, practising Pilates and breath work, skiing or exploring the outdoors.
Most importantly, I value time with my family and friends.
Wellbeing, connection, adventure and growth continue to shape both my work and my life.
Could we work well together?
